My view of the world in analogue film.
Earlier works between 2019 and 2024 were mainly in larger format 120 film, and to some degree, an attempt to fit into what I considered at the time, to be a more accepted output, with a reframe and change in 2025 to an increasingly personal, instinctual, abstract and unplanned style of photography.
I now predominantly work with smaller 35mm compact film cameras, with a preference for mood, atmosphere and emotional connection.
On a deeper level, I am also interested in understanding where our source of inspiration in art stems from, whether we play any part in it (conscious/unconscious) and the potential for subliminal patterns in art that potentially link to unconscious tensions and archetypes and what this means individually from a phycological perspective (primary interest) and collectively.
